About Me
Modified:
I have a M.S. in Bacteriology and an undergraduate degree in art. After doing medical research for ten years, I now stay at home in Edina, Minnesota with my three kids, culturing more germs than ever!
Science can be as easy as baking. I encourage parents to open their kitchen cabinets, stir up some science with their kids, and feed those hungry minds.
If you live in the Twin Cities, you can find me doing science once a month on Kare 11′s Sunrise news.
I serve as an Earth Ambassador for NASA and work with the Science Museum of Minnesota to educate the public about climate change. Between experiments and writing, I teach microbiology to nursing students, add experiments and videos to KidScience App, sing in church choir, and sing and play electric bass in a garage band called The 952. You can email me at kitchenpantryscientist@earthlink.net.
